Blue Sky Energy Technology Limited
In October 2015, Blue Sky Energy Technology Limited ("Blue Sky") partnered with The University of Hong Kong, starting a 3-year smart energy monitoring at New College, a residential hall in the campus. The programme inlcuded installation of smart-meters at 4 floors of the residential hall to collect energy usage data amongst student halls, and data were displayed in public areas within the hall in a real-time manner for 400 students' review. Apart from collection and display of energy performance, Blue Sky also made use of the collection of Big Data and Student Project Mentorship Programme to drift permenant behavioural changes amongst students. In September 2018, Blue Sky has once again partnered with The University of Hong Kong to expand the smart energy programme to 4 residential halls in Jockey Club Student Village III, covering 1,276 rooms, 90 student living rooms and influencing 1,800 students.
